Tuesday night I was interviewed on Dear Texas Radio. It’s one of the perks of being a member of Texas Authors, Inc. It’s the second time I’ve done an interview with them. I wasn’t nearly as nervous about this one as the first. And you know, it’s just talking, and I love to talk. LOL
I had a great interviewer, Rox Burkey http://books.txauthors.com/category-s/2267.htm
She had a great radio voice, low and melodious, almost sexy. Think about the radio show with the woman who played romance songs by request. I’m totally blanking on her name, and I used to listen all the time. Oh, yes, Dalilah. Rox’ voice made me think of Dalilah’s voice. I forgot to focus on lowering my pitch, and I’m afraid I just sounded like me. LOL
We focused on my Second Chances Series, which has 3 books out. The fourth and final book in the series will release in late fall this year.

The show went out live last night at 7 pm.
Alan Bourgeois https://books.txauthors.com/category-s/1882.htm is an author and the founder of Texas Authors, Inc. He specializes in doing everything to help Texas Authors get out the word about their books. Frankly, I don’t know how he does all he does! Readers can buy books from the organization, and every Tuesday and Thursday you can tune into their radio show.
Texas Authors, Inc sponsors books festivals across the state. Now, I’m not going way far west, or south, but things in the metroplex are great. Well, I am branching out to Wimberly in June, but Bob is going with me to that event and one in Galveston, so they become mini vacations.
If you’re a Texas Author, I strongly recommend that you check out their website and join. https://books.txauthors.com/
Here’s a reminder of a places you can see me in person in this busy month:
Saturday, March 10 at the Lewisville Public Library. All kinds of local authors will be there, not just romance.
Wednesday, March 21, I’ll be presenting at the Renaissance section of the Fort Worth Woman’s Club about how I’ve reinvented myself. I’m looking forward to that event.
March 25, The Galveston Island Book Festival sponsored by Texas Authors.
I know most of you missed the live interview, but it will be available in a couple of weeks, and I’ll be sure to give you that link.
Do you listen to pod casts? How do you listen do them? If you’re a writer, have you done an interview like this. Love to hear from you.

Hey, Jacquie. Not sure brave is the right word since I really do like to talk, but I’m glad I got to do the interview. Thanks so much for your support and for stopping by. 🙂

So far, no radio or tv interviews for me. Not because I wouldn’t do them. Just don’t know where to go to have someone host me. I did have a gal contact me, but wasn’t sure if it was a scam or not. I told her not now. Looking forward to hearing your interview and to more interviews for you! Congrats!
