Back in March I did an interview for Dear Texas Radio. It took a while for me to get the link and then life happened, and I forgot about it. Recently I ran across the link and remembered I wanted to share this with y’all. 
It’s probably not the best thing I’ve ever done, but it’s not bad. 🙂 I had a good interviewer, Rox Berkley. There is one place if you listen all the way through, you’ll hear me go blank–just blank. Such an awful feeling. I ramble around and finally get back on track.
A good interviewer does research, and Roz certainly did. But for me, there’s planning that goes into one of these, too. I have a cheat sheet with notes, but you don’t know exactly what the questions will be, and sometimes you know as I do here—I wander off. 😊 So my notes couldn’t help me.

Now I get to do these interviews because I’m a part of Texas Authors, Inc. And as a member of that group, Bob and I are going to Wimberly this weekend for a book signing in that little village. Really cute place and I hope any of you in Austin or south Texas will stop by. I love book festivals. So fun to chat with the authors and the visitors. We’ll have 50 Texas authors there who write all kinds of books, not just my romantic suspense. Pictures next week.
