Do You Like Baseball Parks?

I struggled all Monday with what to write for today’s post. Late in the day I got an email reminding me of an event I’m a part of next spring. March 23 to be specific. Yes, in 2019. I actually have quite a few events already scheduled for next spring and summer.

Not sure how this happened.

Anyway, this Home Run Author/Reader Event is being held at the Globe Life Ballpark in Arlington, smack dab in the middle of the Fort Worth Dallas Metroplex. It is inside the Jack Daniels Club, so we don’t have to worry about the weather. Spring time can be iffy in North Texas.

If you live in the Fort Worth/Dallas Metroplex, you’ve probably been to something at the Arlington Ball Park. I’ve been several times to events and to attend games. It’s a really cool place.

This is an all-day event with all kinds of activities, but certainly you can come and go whenever works best for you. You get a chance to visit with authors, purchase books, and win prizes.

 General Admission tickets are $20

You can also purchase a $50 VIP ticket which not only gets you inside, but includes lunch with the authors and a SWAG BAG.  Would love to have you at my table. Mark your calendars. More as we get closer to the event.

Next week you’ll get my Newsletter, and we’ll be celebrating the 5th Birthday of my first published book, VERMONT ESCAPE with a special $.99 sale on July 18, 19, & 20

Love the cover. Thank you, Charlotte Volnek.

Do you go to Book Signings? Or Author/Reader Gatherings? I’ve been to several, sometimes going across country. Nice to have something close by. Love to hear from you.

  1. Before you know it March 2019 will be here! What a fun outing. I love baseball. Haven’t been to many pro baseball games, but enjoy our AAA League games in Grand Rapids, MI. The farm team for the Detroit Tigers. Also used to attend spring training in FL in March. I’m planning to go to my first book signing with print books at the end of the month at a local library. Small venue. Am thinking of going to an art fair near here in mid Aug, but noone to share a table with and I don’t want to shell out $50. (I don’t have a lot of confidence in selling my books I guess.) All my writing buds will be on vacation or have plans already. Plus it’s outdoors and I don’t want to end up in a rainstorm or hot sun. Picky, aren’t I?

    • Hey, JQ. I’m so glad you’re getting to go to a book signing. It will make all the difference having the print books there. Without them, it’s just not much of anything. Been there, done that.
Okay, woman, you have super books and a variety of them. You have something for anyone who walks up. As opposed to me with only romantic suspense. LOL Some folks don’t read romantic suspense.
When we were young, we attended quite a few Rangers games. And when we couldn’t go, we listened on the radio. I’ve always been a baseball fan, and the lower teams are even better. Not as expensive for sure and a good time for all. Thanks for stopping by.
I had an early meeting this morning and didn’t get to send out reminders about this. Then the afternoon was spent with our grandkids. Nice, but I needed a bit more time for my blog. 🙂 I’ll email you about things I’ve learned from book signings. 🙂
