I hope you’re not melting in the heat. Friends in my adopted state of Maine have said they’ve got temps in the 90s. Very unusual for them. We’ve got a week of 100s and a heat index of 109! Pray for the poor folks who have to work outdoors. Good times to stay inside and read.
And of course, wear a mask if you go out and stay distant. Be safe.

Happy birthday to your husband, Marsha. I hope you’re able to celebrate. It’s been very hot here, too. Nothing like your temperatures but no houses have a/c in the UK, so we really feel it. I had the fan on all night next to the dog’s basket.

Hey, Helena. Bless your heart. No AC with your heat. Hope the breezes are blowing across your moors. Thanks for your good wishes for Bob. I’m picking up his favorite meal from the restaurant we normally go to for his BD. The kids and grands will come over on Sunday, when it’s only going to be 100. We’ll be outside so I’m praying for gusty winds. LOL Thanks for sharing about the book event and for stopping by. 🙂
