Tomorrow, Friday, January 29, Abbie Roads will host over 100 authors writing in all genres to celebrate the release of her latest book. You have to sign on to the group, but then for not much more than a comment, you will be entered to win all kinds of things from these over 100 authors.

I’m going to post around 10 and am sharing pictures from our trips to Maine. You will have a chance to win a print copy of SECOND ACT, Book 2 The Second Chances Series and provide an excerpt.

In other news. For my WIP, I’ve written over 46 thousand words. It’s been pretty exciting how the words have poured from the computer. So an early fall release looks like a pretty good possibility. There is still a possibility I’ll make it into two books. I really wanted to write a “Hallmarkish” type Christmas book, and this as of yet unnamed book isn’t quite that. Don’t get me wrong. I love this book, and I love how fast it’s getting written. It may serve as the basis for the “Hallmarkish” Christmas book I want to write. Or maybe it like it’s the prequel to the “Hallmarkish” book. I’m at the point of writing about the Christmas Festival, and I’m just not sure how it fits into the earlier part of the book. Guess I’ll write it and then look for some Beta Readers to give me their reaction. Do I have one book or two?

As I write this on Wednesday, I still haven’t received the CALL, scheduling my Covid vaccination. I’m pretty frustrated. All my friends have already gotten their shot, and we all signed up at roughly the same time. Still, I’m keeping the faith.

So how about you? Are you eligible for the shot? How is your state managing the process? Have you received the shot or “jab” as my British friends call it. 😊 And what about Hallmark Christmas movies?     • Hey, Helena. We’ve been fortunate to see many gorgeous views while traveling New England. I think my husband took the pic above, but I might’ve. 🙂 During these days when everything seems so wonky, it’s nice to know I can watch Hallmark and get an HEA. Thanks for the link to the interview.   2. Sigh. I registered with the county a month ago and only heard they received my registration. I am too heathy for my age and won’t be called for a while. The biggest problem, IMHO, is there isn’t enough vaccine available for where I live. Another sigh.

    • Hey Vicki, you’ve run into the disadvantage of being younger. 🙂 I’m still keeping the faith that every day I’m going to hear. I called and talked with a real person who said Bob and I are both on the list. At some point they’ll get to us. Thanks for stopping by and for sharing. 🙂

  5. What a party girl! The giveaways and 100 authors sound like fun! I have tried 3 times to schedule an appointment in the last week for a Covid shot. Isn’t it 3 times and you’re out? Feeling I am out. I’m in no hurry anyway. I love the Hallmark movies too, but not too much sweetness at one time. Hallmark in small doses. Wouldn’t it be cool to have your gang of second chances ladies star in a Hallmark series??? I cannot imagine how one would go about even submitting an idea to Hallmark. Good luck with your writing project–one or both!
