Pictures of Red River

What a beautiful place! Love the trees, the greenery, flowers, especially the daisies everywhere, the wonderful whiff of something in the air that makes me think of spas and relaxation, the blessedly cool temps (compared to 109 back home in Fort Worth!!) that requires a fire in the mornings and evenings.  I love the deer and the babbling sounds of Red River. I love being able to walk everywhere. Hope you enjoy these pictures. I bet I’ll have more next week.

PS. I’m praying for everyone stuck in the record-breaking heat. I almost feel guilty, though it’s even been warmer here than usual. Looking forward to next week in the mid 70s. Don’t hate me. 🙂

Love getting to see the deer here. Just like at home they are not afraid.
Charley watering this perfect little Christmas tree.
Fireplace in our cabin. I’ve just about gotten used to climbing the hill to get here. 🙂
Horses going by our cabin.
Daisies across from our cabin. In fact, they are everywhere.
First view of the town as we come down into the valley.

Be safe. Praying the Power Grid holds.

What are the temps like where you are?

    • Hey. Helena. Yes. We are having a great time. Very laid back. Unusual for us with our go-go-go schedule. We both needed this. Love being able to walk everywhere. And the ice cream is pretty good too. 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by.
