Book Signing And Book Trailer

Monkey & Dog Books

We had the best time last Saturday at Monkey & Dog Books recognizing Romance Bookstore Day. Thanks to Allison Fitzgerald who graciously welcomed us and to Don who helped me set up banner. (I need to get a better stand that’s easier to do, and gosh it’s probably time to get a new banner.)

Here are some pics. Look at the great job Bob did putting together my table. (I was fighting with the banner.)

Here’s me doing what I love reading from one of my books. In this case TAINTED.

Here’s the group: Julie Miers, Sue & Gus Guthrie, me, Allison Fitzgerald, Lilia Briseno, and Alice Posey. Thank you for coming.

Book Trailer

And here’s a video that Itsy Bitsy Book Bits put together for me. (If you’re an author, you might want to check out their offerings. https://itsybitsybookbits.com/)

I just love this trailer. I haven’t had one before, but this won’t be the last.. 🙂 Please click on the link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URl5DnN3w4c

COMPROMISE UPDATES

I’ve completed the Front and Back Matter for COMPROMISE. I’ve set November 4 as a release date. I think I can have the book up for pre-order for several weeks before that. My Newsletter September 16 will spotlight the Cover Reveal. I cannot wait to show you. It’s quite different from all my others. You know my former Cover Artist, who I loved got too busy with her “real” job to keep up with her cover business, so I was forced to look elsewhere. Elsewhere is 100 Covers. I think you’ll like the look. For the first look at the cover, sign up for my Newsletter. MRW Press LLC (list-manage.com)

COMING EVENTS

On September 15, I’m speaking to the Greater Keller Women’s Club. Their book club is reading TAINTED and discussing it on the 20th. I had to send them Discussion Questions. I’ve never done that before, so I hope they work for them. Excited to do another in-person presentation.

September 24. Mark your calendars for a great GIVEAWAY on the Isn’t It Romantic Book Club. I did this last year. It was fun. And there are tons of authors this time. You have to sign up here. https://www.facebook.com/groups/isntitromanticbookclub

What kind of in-person events are you attending these days? People were masked at the book-signing, but we took them off for the picture. What about restaurants? All my fingers and toes are crossed we can go to Maine the first of October, even if I have to keep a mask on the entire time and can only pick up food to eat at our rental. This is our 50th Anniversary trip, so I really hope Maine doesn’t decide those of us in Texas can’t come. States did that last year, but now we have the vaccine.

As always, be safe and I love to hear from you.

  1. Congratulations on your upcoming release, Marsha. I’m really looking forward to seeing the new cover. Your table looks fab in the photos, and so does the whole room. It’s great we can get to meet readers face to face now. Best of luck with your forthcoming events

Bob did a great job on the table. Very attractive.

    • Hey, Susan. I’ll tell Bob you said so. 🙂 You know I can do all of that on my own, but it sure is easier and faster to have the help. I’ll be on my own for the Greater Keller Women’s Club next month and it will be hard. I’m very excited about Maine. I hear last night they now saying we can get the booster 6 months after the second one. Yea! That means we can get it in September and makes me feel much more confident about making the trip. Thanks so much for stopping by. 🙂
