Are you finished with your shopping? I am finally. I tend to do it fairly last minute-ish. LOL Lots of wrapping to do yet, though.
I’ll make this a brief post as I’m sure you’re crazy busy, too.
We’re facing some frigid temps over the next several days all over the country as is most everyone in the country. Our forecast is not for anything as bad as in 2020 when all of Texas went into the deep freeze, losing power and water. It was really grim. We had 9 days of below freezing temps. We took shelter with one of our daughters for almost a week. The lake froze over. That hadn’t happened in almost 100 years.

But it will be cold enough. Going down to 11 tonight and the wind chill will make it feel like below 0. Now I know for some of you living in Wisconsin and Michigan that’s just the same ol’ same ol. LOL But not for here in Texas. The good thing is by Monday, the day after Christmas, we’ll be back to a high of 52 degrees. And that, my friends, is why people move to Texas.
Good luck to everyone who is traveling over the holidays.

Hey, Susan. Thanks for your greetings. I feel like we must be in Wisconsin-minus all the snow. Wind chill makes it feel like -2. I don’t know how you deal with this for so much of the winter. Enjoy your family at this special season. Thanks so much for stopping by. 🙂

Hey, Reggi. We are so grateful there’s no snow on the ground, but it feel like -2. I took Charley for a brief walk for one quick pee and he was ready to come back in. Poor baby was so bundeled up in sweaters he could hardly walk. Fortunately its only a couple of days. The horrible wind dies out in the wee hours of the morning. That will be a blessing. Thanks so much for stopping by. 🙂
